The First Step to Modifying a Blog Template

One of the things that affect us is the beauty of a blog template. When we have a good template of the blog we'll have to see the enal. When we feel bored with the template that we have. We can modify and make them different in accordance with our wishes. How can we modify our template? To be able to make modifications to our templates, there are some skills that we must have some basic skills that we must learn is HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).

What is HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) ?

HTML, which stands for hypertext markup language, is the predominant markup language for web pages. It provides a means to create structured documents by denoting Structural semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs, lists etc as well as for links, quotes, and other items. It allows images and objects to be embedded and can be used to create interactive forms. It is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of "tags" surrounded by angle brackets within the web page content. It can include or can load scripts in languages such as JavaScript, which affect the behavior of HTML processors like Web browsers, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to define the appearance and layout of text and other material. The use of CSS is encouraged over explicit presentational markup. (Wikipedia)

What is CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) ?

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used to describe the presentation (that is, the look and formatting) of a document written in a markup language. Its most common application is to style web pages written in HTML and XHTML, but the language can be applied to any kind of XML document, including SVG and XUL. (Wikipedia)

The conclusion is as a beginner like me, to be able to make modifications to the blog design ,a first step that must be done is learn HTML and CSS.
